How long have you been involved in the property industry?
Stephen and I have been working in the property industry for the last 22 years in various markets including sales and new builds throughout the West of Scotland.

How is the property market in Renfrewshire at the moment?
The property market in Renfrewshire has started with a bang, selling 17 properties since we came back in January in a very varied market with a wide mix of properties including first time buys in Paisley to detached family homes in Howwood. This indicates a strong start to the year with a very positive outlook for the rest of the year due to the interest rates settling and a high demand still for property. 

What is Yopa doing differently to other estate agents?
At Yopa we combine being a traditional agent with an online agent to accommodate moving with the times and technology but not losing the personal care we provide both sellers and buyers. The Yopa system allows us to work out with office hours and be very flexible in when and how we can deal with business. We take great pride in what we do and how we deal with everyone, hoping to achieve a stressless, professional and proactive experience.

What advice would you give to anyone looking to sell their home?
My advice to anyone looking to sell their home is to go with an agent you can relate to and trust as this is and should be a stress-free, great experience often leading to new adventures! 

What advice would you give to anyone looking to buy a home?
To all the home buyers, my advice would be to go on your gut feeling. You’ll know when you find the right home and if you lose out on a closing date, it wasn’t meant to be but a perfect home is often not far behind for you. Myself and Stephen love what we do and every day is a new experience; we will always go above and beyond for anything and anyone we encounter. 

If you could buy a house anywhere in Scotland, where would you choose?
If we were to buy anywhere in Scotland it would have to have a sea view. Ideally in Portenccross where we love walking our dog Juma!
