How did you start?
I left college after doing ladies hairdressing. I initially started work in a unisex salon, but they were short staffed in the barbers and I got the job. The rest is history.

What’s the best thing about working in the beauty industry?
Meeting new people every day and keeping up to date with regular clients.

What’s your favourite beauty essential?
Paul Mitchell and Moroccan oil products for a bit of luxury.

What’s your most asked for celebrity look?
For women, it’s been Emma Willis in the past, but it’s currently Miley Cyrus. For the men, it’s David Beckham, in terms of fades and crops. P.S. the mullet is coming back!

What’s your go-to product and why?
Sea Salt products for great texture as well as leave-in hair conditioners.

What’s your favourite beauty treatment?
Facials and body scrubs are bliss.

What’s the most popular treatment/service at Graphic Hair Design?
Collaring services are way up there, but hair relaxing treatments are becoming more popular.

Lastly, what’s your top tip for relaxing at home?
When I finish work, I walk my dogs, find something to watch on Netflix and pour a glass of wine. For me, that’s always the perfect way to relax.
